Hi! I’m Holly, a ceramicist based in the Forest Of Dean, and sometimes Cornwall.

I fell in love with ceramics during a residency in Cornwall whilst studying Fine Art at Falmouth University. I was formally working with natural materials using found or foraged materials gathered on walks around the coastline. During the residency i started experimenting with combining foraged materials such as earth pigments with ceramics. 

Since moving back home to the Forest Of Dean I have been exploring ways in which i can respond to my now immediate environment. I have broadened my practice by using various clay bodies, glazes, foraged slips and oxides as well as experimenting with shapes and forms in order to find which pieces aline with my practice.
